People would drive in horses
And ride on cars
In a backwards world
People would pay money
To get a job
In a backwards world
Boxes would trip over our feet
And fall
In a backwards world
The clouds would generate heat
And the sun would take it all away
In a backwards world
Math would be elective
And art required
In a backwards world
Football would be a sport
And shooting people, war
In a backwards world
Things that don't make sense, would
And things that would, don't.
